MOTIVATION JARS

Finding motivation to work out has got to be one of the biggest reasons why people don't do it!  I found a similar idea on this project on pinterest.com and gave it my own twist!  The best part is that this only cost me $1. :)

I saw the project and I said, "Wow! I HAVE to do that!"  So after class today, I went to Wal-Mart to buy the supplies.

project from Pinterest

I get to the crafty aisle and see that the jars are $1.97 each.  Then I spot the pebbles, $3.27 a 32oz bag. So altogether, what, like $7.50 with taxes and everything?

PASS!

As a military wife, I have to learn to cut costs on EVERYTHING!

So I wracked my mind and thought, I could easily use things I have at home!  The only thing I knew I didn't have, were the sticker letters, which ended up being $1.

I got home and took out 2 plain glasses that I don't use anymore.  I had also recently bought about 7 packages of starbursts at target for 36 cents a package. (Why so many, you ask?  My husband likes gummy candy when he goes on hikes!  Oh and they were ONLY 36 cents!)  I added the wording on the glasses and added 32 starbursts in my pounds to go jar, but then removed 7 for the pounds I've lost! Yay!

Something was missing! How could I make these even more cute?  I took off the ribbon handles of an old Victoria's Secret bag and used double sided tape my husband had on hand to add the ribbon!

And here is the result!!

and all I spent was $1 for the stickers!

the beginning

I tried so hard not to cry during this video... Kind of embarrassing to post this, but I feel like I have to.

Right now I am about 150 pounds.  I am 36DD, size 7-9 jean size, and I prefer a size large shirt to hide my tummy.  I am 4'11" and feel gross about my appearance.  I would like to lose 15 pounds, with an ultimate goal of losing 32 pounds!
